We had the privilege of traveling to Boston, Massachusetts a few weeks ago with our school's music department. We tried our best to find some of Boston's best #EEEATS in the little free time we had. Enjoy a travel guide to Boston, 3girls style!
After a long bus ride to the city, we stopped at Copley Square for lunch. As locals were setting up for the annual Boston Marathon, we walked up the block to sweetgreen, a trendy little chain that serves simple and healthy food with a few friends.
Not only were they super photogenic, they were super delicious.
Next time you are in a major city and looking for a yummy, well balanced meal, try sweetgreen! We had Harvest Bowls for lunch and highly recommend it.
After a quick lunch, we rushed over to our favorite ice cream shop in the world, Emack & Bolio's.
Although we were not able to binge on their fancy homemade cones due to a tight schedule, we were able to get the amazing Cookie Monster (pictured), Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, and Trppin' N Espresso ice cream (not pictured).
The following morning, we made our way over to Faneuil Hall for a quick pit stop, before continuing on our music tour. After performing in front of Quincy Market, we had the chance to go inside and eat, obviously. A fresh everything bagel with butter (pictured above) from Bagelville got our attention first.
Shown above is a lovely Reeses Brownie topped with vanilla icing, peanut butter chips and peanut butter cups. We ate in it approximately two seconds.
Here is a BTS shot, we love when people take candids of us photographing our food!
We also had to try a different type of Reeses brownie from the bakery because who doesn't like the marvelous combo of PB and chocolate?!?
Next, we sampled a jumbo M&M Sugar Cookie. There is no such thing as eating too many sweets!
And how could we forget our first experience with Bubble Tea?!? We got to try Japanese Bubble Tea for the first time on this trip. And we can tell you, it was DELICIOUS! We got a vanilla tea (pictured) and had a sip of a Mocha one as well (not pictured). We highly suggest trying this funky drink if you ever have the chance!
That's a wrap on our impromptu Boston food tour! Be on the lookout for more travel posts coming real soon. Also, feel free to give us suggestions on what types of things you wanna see on this blog! We would love the feedback!
