Doughnut plant was founded by Marc Isreal in 1994. Isreal was a pioneer because he was the first to use fine ingredients and mix fresh, seasonal fruits and nuts in glazes. The innovative doughnuts eventually evolved into something more. Doughnut Plant has grown extensively since- with 4 locations in NYC and several in both South Korea and Japan. Doughnut Plant is still committed to using high quality, all natural ingredients in all of its products, such as chocolate and salt imported from France . In addition, all of the doughnuts are hand flipped and glazed.
Doughnut Plant has a refreshing, exceptional take on Doughnuts. As Kevin eloquently stated, Doughnut Plant's passion, innovation, and quality differentiate it from its competitors. We highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Lower East side, Chelsea, Queens, or Brooklyn. You won't regret it.
