Meet Rosemary and Vine, a chic Mediterranean restaurant located in Rye, NY. This place hasn't even been open for a year and has achieved great success. Recently, the restaurant was featured in the New York Times and Vogue Magazine. We had the pleasure of getting to dine at this trendy all-vegetarian restaurant with the help of Shari Bayer from BPR. Scroll down to learn more about Rosemary and Vine and our fantastic experience with them!
Not only is Rosemary and Vine an extremely beautiful restaurant, they serve incredible food. There are so many delicious allergy and health friendly items on the menu. For example, they offer a number of nut free, gluten free and dairy free dishes. Anyways, take a look at what we had to eat!!!
We ordered multiple appetizers to start, because all of the food sounded so so so yummy. Pictured above is Rosemary and Vine's famous Gazpacho Blanco and The Tasting. The gazpacho was absolutely unreal. So refreshing too! We loved how creamy, light it was! On another note, The Tasting was everything we could have asked for in a appetizer and more. There was so much variety to the plate, which we LOVED. The toasted pita was served with several unique dips. We tasted Rosemary and Vine's homemade hummus as well as three other dips that were original in spice, smokiness and a bit of sweetness. Mmm... Our favorite hummus was the smoky one! You have to try it!
To begin our meal, we also got to try the Avocado Crostini. This crostini resembled Avocado Toast (aka the best creation in all of the land) in our minds and we feel that that was one of the reasons we adored it so much. We enjoyed how flavorful the toast was with the peas, pesto and feta. AND THE BREAD! The bread that it was served on was fantastic!
We also sampled Rosemary and Vine's lovely Lebanese Grilled Cheese (not pictured). It brought us right back to our childhood. Who doesn't love a bomb sandwich with fancy melted cheese?!? SO. GOOD.
Now for the ENTREES! Above is the gorgeous Truffled Summer Garden Fettuccini. It made us think back to Summer 2016, and all the wonderful flavors and ingredients that it brought. This pasta was not too heavy and filled with lots of fresh produce (our fave!).
Falafel time! This will always hold a special place in our hearts. The combination of hummus, pita and falafel was mind blowing. The different textures paired so nicely together. It was so yummy!
The Ella Grilled Flatbread had to be one of our favorite dishes of the night. It was topped with ricotta, caramelized onions, baby arugula, toasted parmesan, olive oil and pine nuts. You can never go wrong with ordering a flatbread! What's not to love about them!?!
DESSERT TIME! The dessert menu at Rosemary and Vine is ridiculous. They offer a number of unique plates to satisfy your sweet tooth. Pictured above is the Warm Chocolate Cake, Dark Chocolate Pudding and the Chocolate Banana Filo. Yummm. We enjoyed mixing the desserts together and trying a little bit of everything.
We highly recommend that you all dine at Rosemary and Vine when you are in town. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is super welcoming and the space has a cozy, casual vibe to it. Another great thing about the restaurant is that the kitchen is completely open. It is extremely important to foodies like us that the kitchen is like that, because it shows that the food is made fresh, with quality ingredients, in a clean space. Big thanks to Shari from BPR, and Berj and Tania from Rosemary and Vine for making our night exceptional.
Be on the look out for another new review coming soon OTB! Until then, go check out Rosemary and Vine...they are awesome.
