Last Friday, the 3girlsteam had the opportunity to head over to Greenwich, CT and sample at The Granola Bar. The Granola Bar currently has TWO locations (Westport, CT and Greenwich, CT) and WILL BE OPENING TWO MORE this spring and summer (Stamford, CT and Rye, NY)! We CANNOT WAIT until they open this summer in Rye, NY because it means that we will be stopping by even more often than usual! :)
We have been HUGE FANS of The Granola Bar ever since they opened in Greenwich, so when Nicole and her team reached out to us and wanted us to try some of their new menu items, we were SO EXCITED to stop by! They have expanded their menu drastically and we love it. Take a look!
We ordered a TON of food to share; here are some of our fave pics from our trip!
For starters, each of us ordered a drink. Sabrina had the NUTELLA ICED LATTE. Isabela ordered the FROZEN MINT CHIP HOT CHOCOLATE. And Liliana had the VERY BERRY SMOOTHIE. ALL WERE SO DELICIOUS. Look at how vibrant they are!
The Granola Bar has such a wide range of drinks on their new menu so it was so hard to choose! But #noregrets with these babies. We 100% recommend them all! If there was only one that you could order, it would definitely be the FROZEN MINT CHIP HOT CHOCOLATE. It has such unique flavors and we have never had anything like it before.
Next, we ordered the Avocado Grilled Cheese. IT WAS AMAZING. Both the cheddar cheese, avo and multigrain bread were warm and drippy, which we loved.
We also tasted the Chips and Dip. These were addicting. Homemade sweet potato chips and a green goddess dressing. SO TASTY.
Lastly, we got the Buddha Bowl to share. This bowl consisted of quinoa, kale, avocado, portobello mushrooms, tomato, fried egg and a dressing of your choice. We mixed these whole foods together and they complemented each other so nicely. This dish definitely exemplifies their mission statement: "A happy place at the intersection of healthy and indulgent. A place with no judgements and no food rules. Just daily deliciousness!"
To end off our meal, we knew that we had to end with something sweet. The first pic features the CHALLAH BACK: Nutella, banana, cinnamon, honey and granola, and pressed into a panini on challah bread. This was DEFINITELY ONE OF OUR FAVES from The Granola Bar. This satisfied our sweet tooth's with the beautiful presentation and the taste. We have withdrawals every day from this panini. We are BEGGING you to go and try this. Let us know what you think!
We also had to order a yogurt parfait, because it is called The Granola Bar after all! We got the Crunchy Elvis, which we had tried before this trip and LOVED EVERY BITE. The Crunchy Elvis is a parfait with their homemade vanilla almond granola and almond butter, honey and banana. This is the perfect snack, breakfast or brunch item when you are needing something to fill you up!
Finally, we could not leave without trying their HOMEMADE GRANOLA BARS!! We had never tried their bars prior to this sampling. The three that we tried were all amazing, with the perfect ratio of savory to sweet. We sampled the Original, M&M Pretzel and Chocolate Chunk bars.
And that concludes our trip to The Granola Bar last week! Shoutout to Nicole and the team at the Greenwich location for hooking us up with some goodies that made for THE BEST Friday afternoon. We appreciate all of their support and congratulate them on all of their success. Be on the look out for even more pics from this trip and from future trips to The Granola Bar! We cannot wait to collaborate with them again when they open is summer in Rye, NY! If you are in the area, PLEASE stop by The Granola Bar and tag us in your food pics on Instagram! We would love to see!
