In the last week of July, we were lucky enough attend Panorama Music Festival at Randall's Island NYC. After a long, traffic-filled drive, we were welcomed a seemingly never ending oasis of food vendors from all over NYC.
With storefronts in Chelsea and LA, we were so excited to get to try this brand before the festival craziness happened (as evidenced by the very empty background behind the matcha lattes). We tried the new Watermelon Matcha Latte, and it was the most refreshing and delicious way to cool off.
We were really craving tacos, so lucky for us, Salvation Taco was our next stop! We had one order of carnitas tacos and one order of chicken tacos. By far some of the best tacos we've ever had, with the perfect mixture of cheese and guac.
We loved these melts from Trapizzino. Mushroom, mozzarella, and pesto (top), and chicken parm(bottom). Definitely perfect for picnicking in the park.
After a long and hot day, ice cream is exactly what we needed. Lucky for us, we had it twice.
Sam's Fried Ice Cream was the perfect mixture of hot and cold. Fried fresh in front of you, these ice cream marvels have a warm, outer coat of sugary bread crumbs, but a cold mass of ice cream inside.
Last, but certainly not least was Eggloo. Based on the famous Hong Kong bubble waffle cones, Eggloo had a reputation for being life-changing. When we tried Eggloo, we thought it lived up to the hype!
We got a vanilla cone, with condensed milk, rainbow sprinkles, and strawberry poki, and a chocolate cone, with crushed oreos and chocolate sauce. The combination of the warm waffle cone, crunchy poki sticks, flavorful sauce, and cold ice cream was definitely something we won't forget. We definitely want to visit them again!
Thanks to all the vendors who so graciously hosted us. We had such an amazing experience, and are already counting down until next year!!
